bio
Art Foundation, BA Fine Art (Uni of Leeds), working at Assembly House supporting professional development for artists and supporting artists within projects (curatorially and assisting). My work facilitates a connection between the physical and spiritual through feminist structures, ritual and performance. Fantastical narratives act as a vehicle to create a fictional space, away from patriarchy, and wield 'otherness'. I use natural materials and environments to steer as far from the patriarchy as possible. My work exists within its own ecosystem, world, history or fiction. I use sculpture, film, performance and photography mainly, with concept leading before material, and materials acting as devices within a concept. I have exhibited solo at Assembly House and in group shows such as Ones to Watch at Sunnybank Mills, New Contemporaries 2021 at Firstsite Colchester and South London Gallery, the Ingram Prize shortlist at Unit 1 Gallery and others. I'm also part of YSI Sculpture Network 2022.
